Open the eyes of my Heart

Amazingly along this route

to the real Mount Sinai,

you come across a gigantic split rock

on top of a 100-foot hill.

The split rock is about 50 feet high.

When you climb it, you look like

an ant next to it.

Down the split in the middle,

and the rock area below the split,

it is smooth from flowing water.

The adjacent areas are all rough

with different types of rocks

and very bumpy.

But in this area it looks

like water poured forth

from the split in the rock,

and came down the hill

onto the ground below.

The local Bedouins, who have

been told to keep people out,

will say this is referred to as

the Split Rock of Moses.
